Born and raised on a horse ranch in Slovenia, Patrick was introduced to photography at an early age by his father, who taught him how to shoot and develop film. This early connection to the craft sparked a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.
At 17, Patrick left his native Slovenia and moved to London, eventually settling in Spain, where he studied at the esteemed Luján Pérez School of Fine Arts in the Canary Islands. During this time, he assisted established photographers and fine artists across Europe, gaining both technical skill and creative insight.
Patrick later moved to New York City, where he worked at leading studios including Milk Studios and Pier 59 Studios, assisting many of the industry's most influential photographers. He continued his education at NYU and the International Center of Photography (ICP), further refining his voice as an artist.
Over the years, Patrick has built a diverse portfolio, photographing for a range of high-profile clients in the commercial, editorial, and fashion industries. His client list includes Tiffany & Co., Woolrich, Sundance, Peter Millar, Minnetonka, Forbes Magazine, and the LA Times Style Section, among others.
Now based in New York, Patrick brings a seasoned, globally informed perspective to every project. His work is defined by strong storytelling, an editorial sensibility, and an enduring respect for craftsmanship and light.
